Dear Cleveland...

I was going to avoid even mentioning this whole LeBron fiasco, basically because I think people are feeding waaaayyyy to much into it. Mind you I am a Miami Heat fan [Born and raised :)] but I definitely did not expect this.

With the letter from The Cavaliers's majority owner Dan Gilbert and the letter from Jesse Jackson criticizing Gilbert and saying Gilbert sees LeBron as a run away slave [Read both articles below...], fans burning LeBron's jersey and threatening his family... I just can't help but write this letter to all of you who are feeling some type of way about LeBron choosing to play somewhere other than Cleveland...like my hometown, Miami.

Dear Cleveland,

It has come to my attention that you are feeling a bit frustrated in the fact that LeBron James announced that he would no longer be a Cavalier. Some of you have argued that it is about staying faithful to your home, some have argued that it is because he did not call the team and inform them first before announcing it that primetime special we all sat and watched. I understand being upset, but I do not understand the extent of the anger.

I have seen footage and photos of you all throwing rocks at his mural. Some of you have torched jersey after jersey while yelling "TRADER!" And while the city of Cleveland, OH may feel this is showing justified anger, instead the rest of American is watching, thinking, "What the hell is wrong with those people?!"

Here is the conclusion. You all are just....crazy. How do I know? Because I know that your answer to the following questions will be, "............."

Don't believe me? Let's see...

1. Name the last 5 players that Cleveland traded in the past year.
2. What is the definition of a Free Agent?
3. Had LeBron announced that that he was staying with Cleveland instead, would the televised announcement have bothered you?
4. What organization did the proceeds from that Announcement go to?
5. Who gave LeBron the title, "King"?

You all do not care what happens to LeBron as long as you all own him. It's easy to see because you all were quick to turn your backs on him. You now claim he was not "King" and that he has too many injuries to be useful in the NBA. All from fans and owners who were willing to sell their soul to have him stay in Cleveland. *sips tea*

So Cleveland, I really hope you are proud of those jerseys you burned. I hope that you truly believe that LeBron wasn't that great in the first place and that you will in fact get a Championship before Miami. But trust me, after we've all seen the backlash of a decision made by 1 simple human being, I think it's safe to say that ya'll will never have SH*T. No player is going to feel comfortable playing there. I guarantee you all will not even purchase tickets to your own games. And while LeBron is getting love and support from his new fans, I hope you all sit back with anger, throwing those ColorPurple curses at the TV with every breath. Just remember that the rest of the world is sleeping peacefully....and so is LeBron.

Love Always,
TrayGotti
