Milli Vanilli Tell Their Story

PopEater did an exclusive interview with Fab Morvan, 1 half of the controversial late 80's early 90s pop group, Milli Vanilli.

For those of you who don't remember, this group quickly became the hottest duo with their hit "Girl You Know It's True" and "Blame It On The Rain" [yeeeeeaaahhhh yeeeaahhhh lol]. Well eventually, people started to appear claiming to be the real singers behind the group's music then the speculating began. But it wasn't until 1989 during a MTV performance where the song "Girl You Know It's True" began to skip while the group performed. Watch the video below. With the HEAVY media backlash, their Grammy was revoked, Arista Records dropped them from their roster, deleted their album AND masters from its catalog, and removed "Girl You Know it's True" from print permanently. Talk about harsh...smh. 10 years later, Rob Pilatus - the other half of the duo, was found dead in his hotel room of a drug overdose. This group had been through it all and in this interview, Fab tells his side of the story claiming that they were the puppets of a plan who were left to hang dry while the true criminals watched. Word is, that there is a movie coming out about the group too....hmmmm...

I call it an obsession...Nicki Minaj probably calls it a Loyal Fan-ism or something...Nonetheless, while in Hawaii, Nicki ran across one of her fans who had gotten her name tattoo'd on his hands....*ctrl-alt-del* She thought it was cute, and also found out that this fan could not get tickets to her show. Of course she helped him out. And all it took was a tattoo of her name...

Birth Control for Men

Soon, there will be a birth control pill made especially for men. The "safe, effective and reversible hormonal male contraceptive" pill which is said to be available really soon, will be available as a pill taken daily, a patch, gel applied to the skin, an injection given every three months or by an implant placed under the skin every 12 months....[you guys sure have alot of choices! haha]

As you all SHOULD know, currently, the only forms of birth control for men are abstinence, condoms, outercourse [you know...hunching], a vasectomy and last but not least, "withdrawal" *side eye* Clearly that last one doesn't work.

Now of course, your sperm count will drop to 0, and you may have the mood changes and weight gains, although current patients participating in the trial reported only weight gain...and the sperm count drop.

With this news being released, men have already began to turn it down, saying that they do not want to take any pill that is going to mess with their hormones. So it's ok for women to take that risk but not you guys?

This story is just as weird as it looks. Over in Britain, 30 year old Lena Bryce and her husband had been trying to have a baby for 4 YEARS!....Then one day, she decided to download an iphone app [Free Menstrual Calender], where you basically track your menstrual  cycle while also getting to see when you are most fertile. 2 months after buying this app, she got pregnant....Yes, it took this lady 4 years to figure out how to track when she is fertile...and yes, she only figured THAT out because she downloaded a calender for her iphone *blank stare*

Sam's Club Cuts It's Loses

To keep up in this economy, Sam's Club decided to cut 11,000 jobs today and "switch to an independent Marketing firm", says WSJ.com. The jobs being cut are said to be only part-timers, and the 9% cut will come from outsourcing product demos. Times are hard, but do all of those people really need to lose their job?

It was first reported that Gary Coleman,41 was arrested for domestic assault towards his wife Shannon Price, 23 [pictured below]...But really, he was arrested for missing the court date given BECAUSE of the domestic violence dispute and it does not even state who the actual victim was. Rumor has it that it was indeed his wife and she too was charged, with domestic violence and disorderly conduct.

Gary Coleman's camp is also claiming that this whole thing has nothing to do with domestic anything and actually is associated with a case where he tried to run over a guy who asked for his autograph back in 2008. Which really doesn't make sense because that case was settled out of court I thought...Hmmm, this thing is just weird in so many ways...

Don't Text Me Now

Ever wanted to text a guy but wasn't sure if you should or if it would be too much or push him away? Well I think about little things like that all the time [I blame it on my Virgo-ism]. Well Cosmo Mag just released an interesting article adressing the question "should I text him?" and they've answered by giving us 5 Times You Shouldn't Text Him. Where would we be without this magazine?

According to Cosmo, the five times are:

1. After the first few dates
2. When you're drunk
3. When you're angry
4. When you're trying to be funny
5. When you've already texted him that day

Surgery Mistake or Publicity Stunt?

Remember my previous post about that MTV reality star? Well her name it Heidi Montag and she recently boasted about how she is addicted to plastic surgery and wanted to get various procedures so that she could look as good as the current Pop Idols.

Well she is now claiming that she almost DIED from the surgeries and feels plastic. Although she never mentioned whether she regretted the procedure [she even said God made her surgeon], she is making it loud and clear of her near death experience. Her surgeon however, is claiming that her face is simply just swollen because she just had the surgery. So all things considered, what is this chick crying about? China Wants Their Boys Back

It seems that the Chinese are worried about the future of their young men. Word is that the boys there are now modeling themselves, not after the traditional Chinese men, but after pop icons, giving these DUDES a feminine touch. 


According the a new book titled, "Save The Boys", they claim that:


- Chinese boys between the ages of 7 & 17 are 2.54cm shorter than Japanese boys
- Chinese boys are getting physically weaker
- Chinese boys are now emotionally more vulnerable than girls


It also claims that in addition to the pop icons, they have a growing lack of male teachers in the schools, so these boys are told to sit and not act out like a "normal" boy would. As a result, turning these boys into a bunch of little girls...

...I didn't even know they made "Ladyboys" Where they do that at?!

The305.com is reporting that Bryan "Baby" Ronald and his brother Ronald "Slim" Williams of Cash Money Records are venturing into...Oil! Gas and Oil to be exact. Together, they have created Bronald Oil, a gas and oil company. They already planned sites for states such as Louisiana, Texas and Florida just to name a few. The company even has it's eyes set on Central America.....Looks like Gas & Oil just #signedtocashmoney

It's HOV!....and Bono

U2's Bono, Jay-Z and Swizz Beats are currently recording a song as a way to help Haiti. Im assuming they plan to sell it on itunes then give a certain percentage back to Haiti, or a foundation. OR maybe they will perfom it on the "Help For Haiti" telethon organized by George Clooney, which takes place January 22. Nonetheless, Bono has written the song and recorded his part, now Jay-Z and Swizzy are next to put their touches on the track.

I'm anxious to hear this...song.

The OLDEST Gay, Bisexual and Transgender publication, Advocate.com,  did a study and concluded that Atlanta, Ga is the GAYEST city in the United States. Believe it or not, the runners up were cities in Vermont and Wisconsin [out of all places]. Surprisingly, cities such as NewYork, or LosAngeles did not even cross the magazine's radar, according to ajc.com.

The study was composed of number of same sex household, gay elected officials, gay bars, gay films, marriage, etc. With Atlanta's growing communities, businesses and social life, people all over are migrating to the accepting city and calling it home. And why not? It IS Atlanta.

Wyclef Denies Fraud

Wyclef Jean was recently in the hot seat for supposedly using the donations claiming to support Hatian Relief through his Wyclef Jean Foundation, which works with Yele Haiti Foundation and using the funds to support himself and his record company. The foundation has already reported it expects to raise $1,000,000 [yes, that's 1 million] a day. He came out, and denied these reports, however many are still questioning... 

TheSmokingGun put out copies of Wyclef Jean's Foundation's earnings, stating that majority of the money the charity received, in fact went to paying him. In times like these, where people come together to help and send their personal finances to various organizations believing that it will be used as intended, it is no wonder the concern of fraud are out there. There have been numerous reports of false organizations, claims of companies giving discounts on behalf of Haiti, etc. Please people, research the companies you decide to donate to.

Remember that blonde chick from that show on MTV, where the kids lived near the beach in California then they moved not so close to the beach? She decided to do alittle venting [or whining] about the '60Minutes' interview she did during the 2009 Elections, where she did not know North and South Korea were two different countries *blank stare* as well as other foolary that I just wish she was never on TV to even say in the first place.

She also took this time to give her unwanted opinion on Obama's Presidency, and that "Obama’s poll numbers are falling because Americans don’t feel as safe as they did, and don’t like health care reform, and have finally figured out what Obama stands for." Help Haiti...

Yesterday, Haiti was hit with a devastating earthquake, causing damages said to cost millions of dollars. With dozens of aftershocks, the city of Port-au-Prince literally crumbled. Advocates such as Wyclef Jean and Anderson Cooper flew out early this morning to assist efforts to aid the country. Rumor has it that death told could be in the 500,000.

Mystikal Released from Prison....Forreal this time.

Back in 2004, Mr. Shake It Fast, Mystikal, was sentenced to 6 years in Federal Prison after pleading guilty to extortion and and assault on his hairstylist. He not only falsely accused his hairstylist of stealing $80,000 in checks, but he forced her to perform sex acts for him and his bodyguards....then he filmed it all. 


Well DJ Smallz is reporting that Mystikal is finally set to be released January 15th....oh happy day.

So Im doing my normal routine of catching up on today's news and Lord behold, they are reporting that on the 2010 Census, you are now able to check off "Negro" as your race. I don't know WHO would want to do that, but it seems that on the 2000 Census, alot of older "Negros" wrote it in so they decided to just add that as an option. Im curious as to what you all think about this?

Mariah Carey accepted her Breakthrough Performance award Tuesday night at the California Palm Springs International Film Festival, for her role as a social worker in the movie, 'Precious'.

The below video shows only about 2 minutes of her 7 minute speech which was full of long confusing stories and plain ol' silence. She even started with, "You have to excuse me...I'm uh......[yell from crowd], Right."

Not sure if she had just got some good sex or something right before she came [to the gala] but Miss Mariah, next time, just bring a notecard...

The Superphone Arrives

I just KNOW you Android lovers are excited...Google premiered it's newest Android/Smartphone/Thing-a-majig [just kidding] called the Nexus One. PCmag described the phones as,"a slime touch-screen headset." It's manufactured by HTC, the same company who designed the G1, myTouch and HTC Hero, which explains the similar features. It IS touch screen, and is said to be giving the popular iPhone a run for it's money. And if that didn't drop your jaw, how about the 5 megapixal auto-focus camera with an LED flash, or the fact that it has over 500MB of internal memory, OR that it comes with a MicroSD card slot for all that extra sh|t you might want to add as well. Nice right?

This phone seems pretty hot, I'm curious to see the reviews once a few people get their hands on it. If you're planning on grabbing one and you're a "unlock" believer like me, Google is selling this "Superphone" for $529.99 unlocked. TMZ [I know, out of all media..] reported that the situation betweet NBA stars Gilbert Arenas and his teammate Javaris Crittenton pulling guns on eachother in the locker room, will be handled in Grand Jury....Both players have made it very clear that this whole fiasco was simply a joke and have been handling the situation rather well according to their Twitter pages...

Apparently, Areans and Crittenton could be charged with criminal assault and weapon charges and has been interviewed by multiple law enforment. It seems that the US Attorney is anxious to get this case to a grand jury.

just skip police reports...guess US Attorney has nothing else better to do *kanyeshrug*

The NYPost is reporting that NBA all-star Gilbert Arenas and his Washing ton Wizards teammate Javaris Crittenton drew guns on each other in the team's locker room during a Christmas Eve dispute over a gambling debt. A little birdie told me that it was supposedly over videogames with bets ranging from $10,000 - $40,000 smh.


But Mr.Arenas isn't letting the "rumors" get him down, in fact, he took the opportunity to take things to Twitter...well kind of... 

Personally, I'm think Arenas is really taking this whole thing lightly, which isn't really a bad thing seeing that NONE OF US KNOW WHAT REALLY HAPPENED!... Amidst his typos and clear no knowledge as to how to even use Twitter, Arenas definitely entertained me and his 15,000+ followers.
