For weeks at a time, it had been the talk of Fenger High School in Chicago that 2 rival gangs were going to "duke it out". Soon enough, the day finally came. On Friday, Sept.25, 2009, the two gangs began fighting each other in an all out brawl. Derrion Albert, 16, whom was also an innocent bystander at the time, was on his way home from school when he got caught up in all the chaos...
Members from the gangs began hitting him, and at one point, striking him with a weapon. When the gang members ran off, Derrion never got up. He was lifted and brought into a youth center, but it was too late. Derrion had already died. As sad as the image in your mind might be, the whole thing was caught on tape! SMH...
